Cynthia Spence knows studio and agency advertising and branding, development advocacy visual communications, and publication design. She seeks collaborative opportunities to grow with a team and its mission.

After holding communications positions at United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and UNICEF, she built a design consultancy that served entrepreneurs, private firms, UN agencies and international non-profits, such as Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and the Association for Private Capital Investment in Latin American (LAVCA).

Ms. Spence is keenly focused on effecting truthful representations of gender, culture, labor and race that are relevant to global progress. She is adept at handling multilingual campaigns.

She has extensive publishing experience, having worked at WWD, W, and numerous trade publications, UNDP’s Choices, UNICEF’s Staff News, and at The Earth Times Foundation’s bi-weekly in NYC and its dailies in host countries. She also co-founded Sensheant magazine, as creative director and editor.

Her passion lies in collaborating with clients and agencies to produce creative visual solutions that inform and persuade.
